I Just Had Some Bipartisan Ice Cream

They’re both really good, even together in one dish. Go try some and practice bipartisanship!

I expect the McCain campaign to soon issue a strongly-worded statement, immediately supported by all McCain partisans, expressing outrage over the clear derogatory implications Baskin-Robbins is making:
- “Crunch” meaning McCain will get “crunched” in the election.
- Referring to the Republican party as “mixed nuts”
- White chocolate as a clear implication that McCain is a racist.
And the Obama campaign will soon issue a strongly-worded statement, immediately supported by all Obama partisans, expressing outrage over the clear derogatory implications Baskin-Robbins is making:
- “Peanut-nougat” obviously intended to create a subliminial phonetic association with Obama as the “the-nut-new-guy”.
- That Obama is “brittle”, but is supposedly shielded from harsh criticism because he is he is “chocolate-covered”
And both sides will demand that Baskin-Robbins immediately cease this blatant partisanship!
i don’t think so at all baskin robbins does this for a lot of elections
Allie,
I was just kidding around. I was making fun of all the extreme partisanship out there (people being unreasonable and misinterpreting things and overreacting whenever they think someone has insulted the candidate they like).
I just noticed that Allie had posted her comment (she didn’t tell me, and she’s out at a party now). She doesn’t think that anyone could joke around on her mom’s boring blog…
