Hanging With the Bloggers This Week
October 4th, 2009 . by economistmomI’ll be in NYC this week as one of the featured bloggers at the World Business Forum, where I’m excited to hear speeches from Bill Clinton, Paul Krugman, Jeff Sachs, and T. Boone Pickens, among others I’m not (yet) as familiar with. I’ll be huddling with the bloggers inside the WBF09 “Bloggers Hub.” I think it’ll be a blast.
Oh, and I’ll try some serious “tweeting” this week, too. It’s going to be a week to remember, and a “milestone” one, for sure!

Hope you’re having a good time here.
NYC is not like the rest of the world. Proof: continental breakfast at the Sheraton is $24?!!
Get out of the hotel. Even in Manhattan, the natives feed well for a lot less than that.
Jim: I didn’t buy the breakfast at the hotel–do not worry. That would have been fiscally irresponsible! I got the free muffins and coffee at the conference instead… Now I’d better at least sleep (a little) at the hotel.
