Will Be Playing Catch-Up This Weekend…
November 14th, 2009 . by economistmomI’m still in Denver at the National Tax Association conference, but headed out before the big snow comes! I have many things to catch up on here, but no time right now. In the meantime, see if you see the disconnect between this Washington Post column by David Broder on what David Walker complains is missing from the health reform bills, and this Bloomberg report on the latest new ideas of the Administration and congressional leadership on how to pay for health care reform. More on this and other things I’ve been thinking about at this tax conference (and other things I need to catch up on) later tonight.

Diane,
FYI, Unless there’s something wrong with my browser, it seems that images you posted are no longer showing up, and several comments on the last thread (and perhaps the penultimate, too) are gone.
uh oh…. I’m not sure what’s going on. Just got back from my trip, and I’m not sure I’ll be able to fix this anytime soon.
Images are back. Lost comments still lost (new ones added tonight after #26 on last thread).
Brooks: I reloaded the images–the “brute force” strategy. Didn’t know or see what had happened, so couldn’t retrieve the lost comments.
Diane,
ok, I guess the world will survive (if only barely) without that lost literature. By the way, if it helps in diagnosing the problem, the icon for EconomistMom on my Favorites list changed when the error occurred (and remains as changed).
oh, wow…yes, you’re right about the icon. What the heck?!… I’ll try to get some help with this tomorrow. Thanks.
